This image represents an exceptional time in cultural growth in Europe, but also globally. The Renaissance was a time of growth in terms of the sciences, the arts, humanism….this dome represents the pinnacle of that cultural growth, not in terms of religion but in terms of architectural design and the artists who had a significant hand in its’ creation: the genius of Donato Bramante and Michelangelo, and the subsequent input from Giacomo Della Porta and Domenico Fontana.

Mykonos
This limited edition of prints was inspired by recent travels to Greece. I loved the bougainvillea that is so prevalent throughout the island and the contrast it created with the white buildings of the town. The unique stone paving is so recognisable. Colour has been added both through the reduction process (5 layers) and watercolour paint. There are only 2 left.

A Crooked Chime
This reduction lion print is an ode to the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the beautiful bells that still toll today. The bell is depicted in it’s verdigris colours to create a focal point with tonal values to create texture and depth surrounding the bell.

Chevy
This is a small edition of of just 6 reduction prints of what I would consider my most favourite car of all time: the 56 Chevy. And it has to be a red one!! Watercolour hhas been used to create shine and depth in the chrome, which was such an important feature of this car.
