I started working on the idea below quite some ago….and got completely distracted by my involvement in ‘Special Projects’! I have printed the first layer of this image and am working on the block as we speak. It’s very detailed and I want to do it justice, mainly because of the emotional connection to the place itself. It would be easy to say that it is due to my partner’s Greek heritage, but I also felt a connection to this wonderful country when we visited.
